Candidates may study in the USA with an F-1 if they are embarking upon academic courses of study at the primary, secondary, or university level. A letter from your physician stating the diagnosis of your conditions and the nature of treatment you are requiring.

A letter from a licensed medical facility in the U.S. showing that you have been accepted for treatment and you has an appointment. It must include an estimate of the total time and total cost of your treatment including outpatient care if you will not be able to return.

Evidence to show that you have funds needed to pay all anticipated expenses. If a close relative in the U.S. an Affidavit of Support (Form I-134) provides it is to be produced

Visitor Visas

If you desire to enter the United States for tourism, business, or medical visits, a visitor visa is generally required. A visitor visa is a temporary (non immigrant) visa for business (B-1) or for pleasure or medical treatment (B-2).

Documentation
Each applicant for a visitor visa must pay a nonrefundable US$45 application fee and submit:

1. An application Form DS-156, completed and signed. Forms are also available without charge at all U.S. consular offices;

2. A passport valid for travel to the United States and with a validity date at least six months beyond your intended period of stay in the United States. If more than one person is included in the passport, each person desiring a visa must make an application;

3. Two photographs 1 and 1/2 inches square (37×37 mm) for each applicant, showing full face, without head covering, against a light background.

If you are traveling to the U.S. on business, you may present a letter from the U.S. business firm indicating the purpose of your trip, your intended length of stay, and the firm’s intent to cover travel costs.

· If you are traveling to the U.S. for pleasure, you may use letters from relatives or friends in the U.S. whom you plan to visit.

If you are traveling to the U.S. for medical treatment, you should have a statement from a doctor or institution concerning the proposed medical treatment.

Apply For O-1 Extraordinary Ability

Eligibility requirements for O-1 worker visa:

To qualify for O-1 work visa, the work performed must be temporary. To be more precise, applicant for O1 visa should perform temporary services for a U.S. employer or an agent of an international employer. Requirements for filing petition

K-1 and K-3 Visa

K-1 visa is a nonimmigrant visa that recognizes the beneficiary’s intent to immigrate based on his/her planned marriage to a U.S. citizen and allows the beneficiary to enter the United States to complete the marriage.To be qualified for a K-1 visa, the following requirements must be met:

1 The alien fiance must be outside the U.S.

2 Both the U.S. citizen and the fiance must remain unmarried until the arrival of the alien fiance in the U.S.

3 The alien fiance and U.S. citizen must have met personally at least once in the two years before the I-129F petition was filed.

The K-1 visa expires ninety days after the fiancée enters the United States. Within that period, the fiancée must marry the United States citizen petitioner, or face termination of her status and potential removal from the United States.

K-3 visa offers an opportunity for a spouse of a United States citizen to travel to the United States so that the family can be together in the United States during the commonly lengthy wait for the”immediate relative” immigrant visa petition. Once issued, the spouse would be able to travel to the United States to be with the United States citizen petitioner while awaiting approval of the immigrant visa petition.

To be qualified for applying K-3 visa, the following requirements must be met: 1 The alien spouse must be outside the U.S.

2 The U.S. citizen spouse must file an I-129F petition (K visa petition)

3 If the marriage occurred outside the U.S., the K visa must be issued by the U.S. consulate in the country where the marriage occurred.

Employment-Based Visas

EB-1—Priority workers include persons of extraordinary ability in the arts, sciences, education, business, or athletics; persons of exceptional ability or with an advanced degree in the Sciences, Arts or Business.

EB-2—This category includes professionals with advanced degrees or persons with an exceptional ability in the Sciences, Arts, or Business; qualified physicians practicing medicine in under-served areas of the United States.

EB-3 Foreign nationals with bachelor’s degrees who do not qualify for the higher preference categories, skilled workers with a minimum of two years training and experience, and unskilled workers.

EB-4—This category includes special immigrants who are foreign national religious workers, as well as current and former employees of the U.S. government in overseas capacities.

EB-5—Individual investors may also apply for permanent residency through an investment of $1,000,000 in new commercial enterprises that create full-time employment for at least 10 workers.

A permanent labor certification issued by the Department of Labor (DOL) allows an employer to hire a foreign worker to work permanently in the United States. Through this process a person can obtain lawful permanent resident status by being employed.

Education Loans to girls

Government - owned banks have decided to provide cheaper education loans to girls students by extending a special interest rate discount of at least 0.5 percentage points (0.5%) on the card rate. The Indian Banks Association, which groups 27 public sector banks, on February 4 asked its members to make available new loans to girls at concessional rates, setting a borrowing limit of Rs 10 lakh for studies in India and Rs 20 lakh for education overseas.

The terms of the loans usually require any interest or principal payments after graduation. Read the terms of any and all loans before you sign. Make sure you understand those terms and what your repayment schedule and fees entail. Ask for assistance in interpreting the fine print if you are having trouble understanding it.

We have seen that a lot of students are very debt-averse. If you have been accepted to a good program, your chances of getting a good job are very good and paying off the loan is not that big an ordeal as it seems. So, if you do get admitted to a school of your choice, we would recommend that you explore this funding alternative.

US M1 Vocational Student Visa

Many international students dream of a better future by obtaining a degree in higher education in the United States.An M-1 visa is for applicants whose primary purpose of travel to the United States is to study in a vocational program.

Documents are required in order to apply for an M-1 visa

A valid passport with at least six months’ validity remaining. Note that we are unable to process visas for applicants whose passports contain any type of powder.

An application Form DS-156, completed and signed. These forms are free at all U.S. consular offices.

A DS-157 form for all males aged 16-45.

One photograph 1 and 1/2 inches square (37×37mm) for each applicant, showing full face, without head covering, against a light background.

You will need to show that you have enough money to support yourself.

Period of Stay
A student is initially admitted for the duration of a maximum period of one year and the student must complete the course including the practical training required to that course amounting to in a maximum period of one year.

The student may be allowed to enter US 120 days prior to the commencement of the course. An additional 30 days stay is allowed to the student to depart the US.

Spouses, Children & Partners: Spouses and/or children under the age of 21 who wish to accompany or join the principal visa holder in the United States for the duration of his/her stay require derivative F-2 or M-2 visas. The application procedure is the same; the I-20A-B or M covers dependents. If the spouse and/or children apply for visas at a later date, a copy of the principal visa holders F-1 or M-1 visa must be furnished with the application. The holder of an F-2 or M-2 visa may not work on a derivative visa; he or she, however, may study at an academic institution.
